Colour makes us happy, and in the case of the Saben Summer collection, brighter really is better.
Highly coveted New Zealand accessories label, Saben, has split their traditional spring summer season into three capsule collections. The first of which ‘Prelude’ drops in stores and on to virtual shelves tonight. Get clicking from 8pm and revel in new season styles and colours bound to ignite a sense of (much needed) joy and optimism with their hero hue magenta.
The seasonal moodboard is inspired by the beautiful colour palette of the natural surroundings found on the coastlines of the Aegean Sea; the deep waters, clay, chalky textures, and bright bougainvillea peppering the cobblestone streets of Santorini. The much-loved magenta of drop one is an appetiser for the bright blue ‘Aegean’ set to hero in drop two ‘Vessels’ arriving late September.
True to form, there is something for everyone. The nudes are fresh and creamy, and the perfect mid-tan ‘Clay’ is an ideal trans-seasonal tome that will pair back seamlessly with lights, darks and denims. The styles size range spreads from XS to XL; new silhouette ‘Luka’ is the sophisticated over-sized carry-all you’ve been waiting for. Don’t hang up your nano-bags by their itty-bitty straps just yet, infamous ‘Frilly Tilly’ makes a comeback in white and black and is re-imagined in magenta; sure to repeat its sell-out status.
Timeless design meets intuitive functionality of exquisite quality ensuring these pieces are well worth the investment and bound to be on heavy rotation in your wardrobe for years to come.
